It never hurts to ask....

6 months ago Jim opened a bag of Three River's CornMeal Mix...and ewwwww there were what look looked like clumps of dirt in the bag. I called customer service and they kindly sent me 2 FREE coupons for replacement bags. Well...low and behold we didn't use them fast enough..and Three Rivers got sold to Pillsbury.....I decided that I really wanted my replacement, so I sent them my now useless Q and they replaced it!!! It never hurts to ask!!!

What a wonderful day!!!

Sometimes I believe that God just likes to smile upon us!! Today has been my day. I am coming to you live from my new laptop with HIGHSPEED wireless connection!!! woooohoooo!!!

Jim and I went to a pottery festival today in Townsend. Way fun and got a wonderful t-shirt. Got new ink for printing lots-o-coupons!! Was greeted in CVS like a rockstar!! I love LOVE shopping at the Alcoa TN CVS!!! Got 4 cans of Campbell Soup for FREE using IP coupons with deals. Used a CRT for $5 off any 24/7 skincare, got some more of the great scrub for only $4.99, also got 2 boxes of Post Trail Mix Crunch using a raincheck (from 2 weeks ago) and 2 $2.00 IP Q's ....my total after using a $4.00 ecb was less than $3.00!!!

Found some of the True Orange at Kroger for clearance price of $1.49!! After using some peelies that were on the boxes...they were $.49 OOP!!

Got to spend my day laughing with my dear husband and calling my beloved daughter...life doesn't get much better!!!

Could you all do me a quick favor??? I heard on the radio this morning a short story about Sgt. Daniel Thornhill who was injured in Afghanistan a while back. He was injured in a random bombing and has lost both his legs and is now in therapy at Fort Sam Henry Fisher House in Houston Texas. He is paralyzed form the waist down and even with the use of prosthetics the doctors are not optimistic about him ever being able to walk again. His parents have traveled to Texas to be with him and have asked for support, but not in the way you would expect. His birthday is coming up and his parents have asked for as many birthday cards for their son as can be sent. No money or financial assistance, just birthday cards!!!! We are making ours tonight and will be sending it out in the morning. I am hoping you all could do the same and then forward this email on to your friends and family who would also send a card. Thanks and I am sure each and every card will be greatly appreciated.
